I own a Warco WM 280. The cross slide rotating lever requires a finer operation especially when making a final pass to finish. The tool can stick due to the lack of torque provided by the leverage position of the rotating knob.
The Modification should:
- Have a lever which provides a higher torque and finer adjustment position.
- be adjustable so that it can be returned to a normal position, to avoid the lever being impeded by the cross slide.
- The sliding adjustable bar should not have any play in it.
