For enhancing machine lathes and Mills
The rotating knobs supplied with Chinese lathes and mills are of notoriously poor quality: In operation they can become sticky and suffer from internal ovaling wear.
I have now designed, tested and produce direct replacement rotating knobs, fitted with high quality internal ball race bearings. For enhancing mini mills and lathes or other machines requiring a smooth low friction operation.
Presently in thread sizes M6, in progress M8 and Longer lengths. Proposed lengths 30 , 40 mm 50 mm & 70 mm in standard 19 mm widths.
Advantages
• Smooth low friction operation.
• Long life
• The 30 mm shorter length rotating knob for lathe tool post slides.is less likely to interfere with other devices on the bed e.g. the tailstock.
• Black Acetal hard Plastic. Wider at 18 mm which makes it more comfortable to operate than the standard thinner metal.
• Fitted using a 4 or 5 mm Allen key, this is an optional purchase as its a common tool.
